Scale Support Analyst

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Scale Support Analyst to join our Dubai team. The ideal candidate will have 4-6 years of hands-on experience in technical scale support, ensuring high availability, performance, and reliability of large-scale systems. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to diagnose and resolve complex issues, implement capacity planning, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor system performance and capacity metrics for large-scale infrastructure
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical incidents related to scalability, performance, and reliability
• Collaborate with development, operations, and network teams to identify root causes and implement corrective actions
• Develop and maintain automation scripts and tooling to streamline support workflows
• Conduct capacity planning exercises and forecast future resource requirements
• Participate in on-call rotation and respond to critical incidents in a timely manner
• Document support procedures, runbooks, and post-incident reviews
• Recommend and implement performance optimization strategies and best practices

Required Qualifications:

• 4-6 years of experience in technical scale support or related role
• Strong understanding of distributed systems architecture and performance tuning
• Proficiency with monitoring and alerting tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog)
• Experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
• Solid working knowledge of Linux/Unix operating systems
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure
• Effective communication skills and ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Background in capacity planning and load testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Locust)
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
• Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Linux Foundation Certified Engineer)
• Exposure to database performance tuning (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB)
