About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned Project Engineer based in Dammam to lead the design, implementation, and commissioning of control systems projects. The ideal candidate will leverage deep expertise in Emerson DeltaV and Distributed Control Systems (DCS) to deliver safe, timely, and budget‐compliant solutions for our industrial clients.
Responsibilities:
- Lead engineering and execution of DCS projects from concept through commission and handover
- Develop and review control system architecture, specifications, and design documents
- Configure, program, and troubleshoot Emerson DeltaV DCS modules
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams including electrical, instrumentation, and process engineers
- Manage project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation to ensure on-time delivery
- Interface with clients, vendors, and contractors to define requirements and resolve technical issues
- Prepare technical reports, risk assessments, and project documentation in compliance with company and regulatory standards
Required Qualifications:
- 8 to 10 years of experience as a Project Engineer in industrial control systems
- Proven expertise configuring and commissioning Emerson DeltaV DCS
- Strong knowledge of Distributed Control System principles and architecture
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Instrumentation, Control, or related Engineering discipline
- Demonstrated project management skills including planning, scheduling, and cost control
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP or equivalent project management certification
- Experience in oil & gas sector projects within Saudi Arabia
- Familiarity with local standards, codes, and HSE regulations
- Proficiency in Arabic
- Master’s degree in Engineering or Project Management
