Power BI Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Power BI Developer to join our remote team in Saudi Arabia. In this role, you will design, develop, and maintain interactive business intelligence solutions, enabling data-driven decision making across the organization. You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into impactful dashboards and reports, ensuring high performance and data integrity.

Responsibilities:

• Gather requirements from business stakeholders and translate them into technical specifications
• Design, develop, and deploy Power BI reports and dashboards
• Create complex DAX measures and calculated columns to support analytical needs
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, transformation, and loading
• Perform data modeling and ensure data quality and consistency
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including data engineers, analysts, and business users
• Monitor and optimize report performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement best practices
• Document solutions, maintain version control, and provide user training and support

Required Qualifications:

• 5–10 years of hands-on experience as a Power BI Developer or similar role
• Expert proficiency in Power BI desktop, Power BI service, and Power BI mobile
• Strong command of DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) for building measures and calculations
• Advanced SQL skills for querying and transforming data from relational databases
• Proven experience designing and delivering interactive dashboards and reports
• Solid understanding of data modeling concepts and ETL processes
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage multiple priorities
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Microsoft Azure services (e.g., Azure Data Factory, Azure Synapse Analytics)
• Familiarity with version control systems and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of Python or R for advanced analytics
• Background in finance, ERP systems, or other industry domains
• Arabic language proficiency
