Network Security Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Network Security Specialist based in Riyadh to design, implement, and maintain robust network security solutions. You will lead the development of high-level and low-level designs, configure Fortinet devices, and ensure the integrity and availability of our network infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop high-level (HLD) and low-level (LLD) network security architectures
• Implement, configure, and maintain Fortinet firewalls and related security appliances
• Conduct regular network vulnerability assessments and penetration tests
• Monitor network traffic and security logs to detect and respond to incidents
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security controls into network deployments
• Develop and maintain security policies, standards, and procedures
• Provide technical guidance and training to junior team members
• Prepare detailed reports and documentation for management and audits

Required Qualifications:

• 3–7 years of hands-on experience in network security implementation
• Proven expertise in designing HLD and LLD for enterprise networks
• Strong experience configuring and managing Fortinet firewalls and security appliances
• In-depth knowledge of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF) and security technologies (VPN, IDS/IPS)
• Solid understanding of security best practices and frameworks
• Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Effective communication skills in English

Preferred Qualifications:

• Fortinet NSE certification (NSE4 or higher)
• CISSP, CISM, or CCNP Security certification
• Experience working in Riyadh or Saudi Arabian regulatory environments
• Familiarity with compliance standards (ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS)
• Scripting skills (Python, Bash) for automation and reporting
