About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Portfolio Manager to lead and optimize our asset portfolio in Dubai. In this role, you will oversee the end-to-end management of multiple assets, drive PMO excellence, implement governance frameworks, and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to deliver strategic initiatives that maximize value and performance.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement portfolio management strategies for asset optimization
- Lead PMO processes including governance, scheduling, risk management, and resource allocation
- Oversee financial planning, budgeting, and performance tracking of the asset portfolio
- Coordinate cross-functional teams and stakeholder engagement to ensure project alignment
- Monitor portfolio performance metrics and provide regular reporting and actionable insights
- Identify, assess, and mitigate risks affecting portfolio objectives
- Establish and enforce best practices, standards, and processes across the PMO
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance portfolio delivery and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with local regulatory and industry standards in Dubai
- Manage vendor relationships and contractual agreements
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or related field
- 10–12 years of progressive experience in portfolio management and asset management
- Proven expertise in leading PMO functions and governance frameworks
- Demonstrated track record managing large-scale asset portfolios
- Strong strategic planning, financial acumen, and analytical skills
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership abilities
- Experience working in Dubai or the wider MENA region
- Ability to drive performance in cross-functional and multicultural environments
Preferred Qualifications:
- Project Management Professional (PMP), Prince2, or PgMP certification
- Master’s degree or MBA in a relevant discipline
- Certification in asset management (e.g., IAM, ISO 55000)
- Experience in real estate, infrastructure, or industrial asset portfolios
- Familiarity with ERP, portfolio management, and PMO tools
