About the Role:
We are seeking a motivated Junior Software Developer to join our team in Kerala. In this role, you will contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of our software applications under the guidance of senior developers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions, enhance your technical skills, and support project delivery in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code according to specifications
- Assist in the design and implementation of new features and modules
- Debug, troubleshoot, and resolve software defects and issues
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to team best practices
- Collaborate with QA testers to ensure software quality and performance
- Document code, processes, and updates for future reference
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- 0-2 years of hands-on experience in software development
- Proficiency in one or more programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, C#)
- Basic understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles
- Familiarity with relational databases and SQL
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Good verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Familiarity with web frameworks or libraries (e.g., React, Angular, Spring)
- Exposure to Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Internship or project experience in a professional software development environment
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)
- Certifications in relevant technologies or courses in advanced software topics
