Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking a seasoned Full Stack Developer / Lead to join our Dubai-based team. In this role, you will drive the end-to-end development of scalable web applications, architect robust solutions, and mentor a growing development team. You will collaborate closely with product, design, and operations stakeholders to deliver high-quality software that meets business objectives and user needs.
Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of full stack web applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Node.js
- Define and enforce coding standards, conduct code reviews, and ensure best practices
- Architect and optimize database schemas and queries for both SQL and NoSQL data stores
- Collaborate with product managers and UX/UI designers to translate requirements into technical specifications
- Mentor, coach, and develop junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of learning and innovation
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment workflows
- Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement performance improvements
- Ensure security, scalability, and maintainability of applications
- Participate in sprint planning, estimations, and Agile ceremonies
Required Qualifications:
- 4–6 years of professional full stack development experience
- Expert proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
- Strong hands-on experience with React and Node.js
- Solid experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and writing optimized SQL queries
- Proficiency with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB)
- Deep understanding of RESTful API design and integration
- Experience with version control systems (Git)
- Demonstrated leadership or team lead experience, including mentoring or coaching peers
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong verbal and written communication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and serverless architectures
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Background in microservices architecture and event-driven design
- Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI
- Knowledge of performance monitoring and logging tools (e.g., New Relic, ELK Stack)
- Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
