About the Role:
We are seeking a Digital Compliance Officer based in Dubai to lead and manage the implementation of digital compliance, risk and testing frameworks across our organization’s digital platforms. The successful candidate will ensure that our online services adhere to all relevant UAE regulations and internal policies, drive user acceptance testing, and perform detailed technical risk assessments to safeguard the integrity of our systems.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement digital compliance frameworks and policies tailored to UAE regulatory requirements
- Conduct technical risk assessments and audits of digital platforms, applications and processes
- Design, plan and execute user acceptance testing (UAT) for new digital solutions, enhancements and integrations
- Collaborate with IT, legal, operations and external stakeholders to ensure end-to-end compliance
- Monitor regulatory updates (DIFC, ADGM, SCA) and translate changes into actionable policy and process adjustments
- Prepare comprehensive compliance reports and present findings, risks and recommendations to senior management
- Provide training, guidance and support to project teams on compliance best practices and UAT methodologies
Required Qualifications:
- 4–6 years of experience in digital compliance, IT risk management or related technical roles
- Proven technical expertise in implementing and maintaining compliance controls for digital platforms
- Hands-on experience with user acceptance testing (UAT) for web, mobile and enterprise applications
- Strong technical risk assessment, analysis and mitigation skills in digital environments
- In-depth knowledge of UAE financial regulations and data protection laws (DIFC, ADGM, SCA)
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, IT Governance or a related field
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
- Familiarity with compliance management tools, automation platforms and test case management software
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certifications such as CISA, CRISC, CAMS or CIPP/E
- Experience implementing ISO 27001, SOC 2 or GDPR compliance frameworks
- Knowledge of Agile/DevOps methodologies and tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence)
- Advanced degree (Master’s) in Information Security, IT Governance or a related discipline
- Proficiency in Arabic for effective stakeholder engagement within the UAE market
