Data Analyst

About the Role:

We are seeking a seasoned Data Analyst to join our dynamic team in Dubai. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in SQL, Power BI, and data visualization to transform complex datasets into actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI
• Perform in-depth data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into analytical solutions
• Ensure data quality and consistency by implementing validation checks and cleansing procedures
• Present findings and recommendations to stakeholders through clear visualizations and written reports
• Optimize existing reporting processes for efficiency and scalability

Required Qualifications:

• 4-6 years of professional experience as a Data Analyst or similar role
• Proficiency in SQL for data extraction, transformation, and analysis
• Advanced skills in Power BI for dashboard development and data visualization
• Strong background in statistical analysis and reporting techniques
• Hands-on experience with large datasets and data warehousing concepts
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Economics, or related field
• Fluent in English with strong verbal and written communication abilities

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in the UAE market or GCC region
• Familiarity with Python or R for advanced analytics
• Knowledge of cloud data platforms such as Azure or AWS
• Advanced Excel skills, including Power Query and VBA
• Exposure to machine learning concepts and predictive modeling
• Understanding of industry-specific regulations and data governance practices
