Data Analyst

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Data Analyst to join our growing analytics team in Abu Dhabi. The successful candidate will leverage Alteryx and advanced data analysis techniques to extract, transform, and interpret complex datasets, providing actionable insights that drive strategic decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain ETL workflows using Alteryx to automate data processing.
• Perform exploratory and statistical data analysis to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities.
• Develop dashboards and reports to communicate insights to stakeholders across departments.
• Collaborate with business leaders and cross-functional teams to define requirements and translate them into analytical solutions.
• Ensure data quality and integrity by implementing validation checks and conducting regular audits.
• Present findings and recommendations through clear visualizations and narrative summaries.

Required Qualifications:

• 4-6 years of professional experience in data analysis or related role.
• Proficiency in Alteryx for data integration, cleansing, and transformation.
• Strong technical skills in data analysis, including statistical methods and hypothesis testing.
• Advanced SQL and Excel capabilities for data querying and manipulation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Economics, or related field.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication skills to convey complex insights to non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Alteryx Designer Core or Advanced certification.
• Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
• Working knowledge of Python or R for advanced analytics.
• Prior experience in the energy, finance, or government sectors in the GCC region.
• Master’s degree in a quantitative discipline.
• Familiarity with cloud data platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure).
