Cyber Security – Project Manager

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Cyber Security Project Manager to lead and deliver high-impact security initiatives in Dubai. You will manage the full project lifecycle for technical security implementations, coordinate cross-functional teams, and engage with stakeholders to ensure timely, on-budget delivery while upholding the highest security standards.

Responsibilities:

• Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and timelines for cyber security initiatives
• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, and resource allocations
• Coordinate with technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders to ensure alignment and effective execution
• Manage stakeholder communications, expectations, and change requests throughout the project lifecycle
• Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks, issues, and dependencies
• Track project performance using appropriate tools and methodologies, and prepare regular status reports for senior management
• Ensure all project activities comply with relevant regulatory standards and internal security policies
• Drive project closure activities, including lessons learned, documentation handover, and post-implementation reviews

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field
• 7–10 years of experience managing IT projects, with at least 5 years focused on cyber security engagements
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
• Strong technical understanding of cyber security concepts including network security, vulnerability management, and incident response
• Proven stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to influence senior leadership
• Experience performing risk assessments and implementing mitigation strategies
• Proficiency with project management tools such as Microsoft Project, JIRA, or equivalent
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) or Certified Information Security Manager (CISM)
• Experience working in the UAE or broader Middle East region
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, NESA, GDPR, or other relevant regulatory frameworks
• Hands-on experience with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure)
• Master’s degree in Business Administration, Information Security, or related discipline
