About the Role:
Top Shipping Company in Makkah is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to oversee and optimize all warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will lead a dynamic team, manage inventory and order fulfillment processes, ensure safety compliance, and leverage technical expertise in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) to drive efficiency and accuracy.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping
- Utilize WMS software to track inventory, process orders, and generate operational reports
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to maintain stock accuracy
- Enforce safety protocols and compliance with relevant regulations
- Coordinate with logistics and supply chain teams to optimize throughput and minimize delays
- Lead, train, and motivate warehouse staff to meet performance and quality targets
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and continuous improvement initiatives
- Monitor key performance indicators and implement corrective actions as needed
Required Qualifications:
- 2–5 years of experience as a warehouse supervisor or in a similar role within shipping or logistics
- Proficiency in Warehouse Management System (WMS) software (technical)
- Strong knowledge of supply management, logistic management, and inventory control (non-technical)
- Demonstrated team leadership and staff development skills (non-technical)
- Solid understanding of warehouse safety compliance and regulatory standards (non-technical)
- Experience with order fulfillment processes and maintaining operational efficiency (non-technical)
- Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field
- 5+ years of supervisory experience in a large-scale distribution or shipping center
- Experience implementing Lean methodologies or process improvement projects
- Familiarity with ERP systems and advanced reporting tools
- Professional certifications such as Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) or OSHA safety training
