About the Role:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Staff Engineer with 8-15 years of software engineering experience to lead the architecture, development, and delivery of large-scale, cloud-native systems. In this role, you will drive technical strategy, mentor engineering teams, and ensure robust, scalable, and maintainable solutions that align with our business objectives.
Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end system design and architecture for distributed, high-availability platforms
Drive the adoption of cloud architecture best practices and evaluate new cloud services
Architect, build, and maintain microservices-based applications with a focus on reliability and performance
Define and implement DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure as code, and automated monitoring
Mentor and guide engineering teams, conduct design reviews, and enforce coding standards
Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions
Identify technical risks and drive continuous improvement initiatives across the organization
Provide strategic technical leadership and influence the long-term technology roadmap
Required Qualifications:
8-15 years of professional software engineering experience
Strong expertise in system design and architectural patterns for large-scale systems
Hands-on experience with cloud architectures on AWS, Azure, or GCP
Proven track record designing and implementing microservices-based applications
Solid DevOps skills, including CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)
Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, and cross-functional collaboration abilities
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience
Preferred Qualifications:
Master’s degree or PhD in Computer Science or related discipline
Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Google Professional Cloud Architect)
Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and Docker container orchestration
Contributions to open-source projects or technical publications
Domain experience in fintech, e-commerce, or enterprise SaaS
Familiarity with AI/ML infrastructure and data processing pipelines
