Job Description
About the Role:
The Consultant – IT Governance will join the TIDES program in Jeddah to lead the design, implementation, and enhancement of IT governance, risk, and compliance frameworks. You will partner with cross-functional teams to strengthen cybersecurity, streamline business processes, conduct IT audits, and develop robust business continuity and disaster recovery plans.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement IT governance frameworks (COBIT, ISO 27001) aligned to organizational objectives
- Conduct technical cybersecurity assessments and recommend remediation measures
- Analyze and optimize business process management workflows
- Plan and execute IT audit engagements to validate controls and regulatory compliance
- Identify, assess, and manage IT risks through risk assessment workshops and reporting
- Develop, test, and maintain business continuity management and disaster recovery plans
- Prepare clear governance, risk, and audit reports and present findings to stakeholders
- Deliver training and awareness sessions on governance, risk management, and compliance best practices
Required Qualifications:
- 6–8 years of consulting experience in IT governance, risk, compliance or related areas
- Technical expertise in IT governance frameworks such as COBIT and ISO 27001
- Proven experience conducting technical cybersecurity assessments and implementing security controls
- Solid background in business process management analysis and documentation
- Hands-on experience performing IT audits and compliance reviews
- Demonstrated ability to identify and manage IT risks with formal risk assessment methodologies
- Practical experience developing and testing BCM and disaster recovery plans
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Preferred Qualifications:
- Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CRISC
- Experience on government or large-scale programs in Saudi Arabia or the GCC
- Familiarity with digital transformation initiatives and emerging technologies
- Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2)
- Advanced degree or specialized training in governance, risk, and compliance
